Background : It all started when I was a lot
younger as music has always played a big part in my life. I suppose
you could say I became hooked after seeing Lisa Lashes play at
Turnmills. From there on I found myself exploring the larger venues,
e.g. Academy, The Fridge & Heaven. I was then introduced to the underground hard dance scene, mainly in Brixton & Vauxhall. I started mixing using CD's and MP3's then Tony Kaos introduced me to the wonders of vinyl. From there on my natural progression was to become a DJ with Tony Kaos as my mentor. I've been playing for just over a year now, and have made many new friends. and played for a varety of promotions in different venues e.g Total Mayhem @ Main Room Fridge, Nightshift @ Mass, Hammered @ Factory, Just Groove @ Club 414 etc. I am also proudly a member of the HIJACK SQUAD, this is a collective of DJ's which consists of Tony Kaos, Samson, Myself and Ted Patrick. Music Style: I try not to be labeled as playing 1 genre of music. I can mix anything from trance to hard dance, funky down to acid techno, garage right through to drum and bass, But my preferred music style is hard dance, around 158/159+ BPM. |
