Guacnche Guacnche was inspired to be a Dj in Brixton, the best party area in London, originally from the Canary Islands, from a very young age he knew he would be somehow involved in music, however he didn't know he would be into dance music until he moved to live in London. In the Mid 90's he started playing the guitar & bass guitar in a rock band called Antena Negra, influenced by heavy & distortion riffs he played for five years and in February 2000 he leaves everything behind to move to London, here his personal and musical life change, in mid this year he goes to his first electronic music party ever in the famous underground club called The Drome now under the name of SE ONE for a party called antiworld. "Wow!!!! what kind of music is this that makes dance so much??!!"... In 2001 he starts going out in Brixton, his friend Charlie takes him to the 414 where there was a party with the name Milk, here is greatly inspired by D' Marr Ford & Ali Wilson and in March 2002 he buys a pair of decks, mixer and starts mixing, then he meets another Milk resident, Joanna McEwen with whom he practices and starts doing good quality mixes... Around this time he knows Mc Driweave, from whom he adopts his mixing technique, at the legendary George IV. Two months later he decides to put up a party with his squat mates, Kostra Sound, for three years they set up the sound system every weekend playing with: F. Gironella, Massimo, Hitdbit & Orlandisko who is a friend of Guanche from the Canary Islands, this guy was the drummer in Antena Negra, big Dj's like the marvellous Clodagh, Chriss Liberator, D' Marr Ford or Jeff Amadeu played at Kostra. Eighteen months down the line playing every weekend at Kostra parties he finally plays and releases a cd for Milk, sadly this promotion dies shortly after, at this time he gets his first residency for nova party, run by Mc Driweave at the same time he starts playing as guest for Crossover on Saturday mornings ending up as resident the following year. In 2005 he wins the London finals for Vestax & Telegraph competition getting to play at the ministry of sound, shortly after, The Gathering, promotion of great experience and quality, makes him also resident. In 2006 he plays back to back with his friend Toxigen in the last party of The George IV as the club was closing, this is one of his most specials gigs, here is spotted by Carnage promoters Kito & Kamila whom they support greatly after seeing and listening the great energy and quality of this Dj, he gets through this his Carnage residency. And Finally in January 2007 he is offered a techno residency at Techno Inside, and also a residency in the club that saw him born: 414.
