We’ve been playing Breaks for years at Zoology, whether from our residents Markus and Matt to several guests in the past. We’ve never had a night dedicated to it. So, with a bit of thinking we decided to start a night with Breaks and then morph into Techno. We’ve, as usual, managed to rope in a rather tasty line up of DJs as well… So off we go!

Guy “Geezer” McAffer

Having produced a vast range of music over the past 20 years. Over 500 records from numerous labels, travelled the four corners of the earth, playing music from rock to techno, dub to punk. Guy “Geezer” McAffer has done, to put it midly, loads!

Along with his own label Raw his productions and remixes have graced numerous record labels such as Stay up Forever, Cluster, Max min, Hydraulix, Top Shelf, 4X4, Smitten, Highwire, Powertools, Hazcem, TEC, Pounding Grooves, Routemaster, Tortured, CL Recordings, Jerk, Intensive, Bionic Orange, plus loads more.
I won’t even begin to try and list all the places he has played at.

Clodagh

This is Clodagh’s 4th trip to the Zoo, such is the high regard held for her by tus promoters. Her brand of funk driven Techno has always sat well with our crowd and it’s a pleasure to have her back again.

Steelo

Total deviant and utter animal. Steelo is also a great DJ who plays a variety of broken beats from DnB to proper Breaks (whatever that might be).
The logical choice of guest for our Breaks section of the night!

There you have it. With the residents scattered in between that lot you have a night of music that is sure to moisten even the sturdiest of pants!
